Public Key Encryption
Those Involved

Those who have been involved in the development have PKE recieved varying levels of recognition. Diffe, Hellman and Merkle have been credited with creating the first way of securely exchangine a key whilst Rivest, Shamir and Adleman have recieved the credit and rewards of creating a method of implementing a public key system. RSA securities sold in the late 1990s for $200 million.

In contrast Ellis, Cox and Williamson have recieved vertually no credit and information on them is almost impossible to find on the web. Here are some facts about those who created PKE both in the academic communities as well as in the closed communities of government security. They have been included to give credit to those who discovered new ways to encrypt which shaped the digital world.
